We are committed, along with our members, to paying attention to and giving back to the surrounding community, creating a better future together.

Since 2006, S.J. Distributor has been consistently donating meats, dry goods and other foods to local charities and non-profit organizations each year. Based on our multiple warehouses and office locations established in California and Oregon, we encourage our members to actively establish connections with local related organizations. To date, we and our members have initiated multiple food donations to organizations such as Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Emergency Food Bank, Oregon Food Bank and Milpitas Food Pantry.

The outbreak of the pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to countless families and businesses. During this difficult time, our branch in Portland, Oregon has been standing side by side with its members, continuously contributing and providing aid to people in economic hardship. Through the joint efforts of the company and its members, approximately 5,180 pounds of food have been donated to organizations like Oregon Food Bank, Sunshine Division of Portland Police Bureau as well as Portland Rescue Mission. This has provided food relief for over 1,800 children, families and seniors in the Portland community making a substantial contribution towards it.
